What is Transport Layer Security ?

Transport Layer Security or TLS  is a security protocol which is designed to provide or facilitate privacy and data security for communication over the Internet service. The mainly use of TLS are to encrypting the communication between the application and web services like wise when an end user system’s the website loading in a browser. It helps to encrypt the data which has been sent over the internet where middle-man unable to see the transmit data.

TLS was proposed by Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) which is an international standard organisation. The first version of TLS was published in 1999. The latest version are TLS 1.3 which was published in 2018
